If budget is a constraint and general use is your focus, then the ASUS Vivobook 16 with its lower price is a sensible pick; it offers decent performance for everyday tasks and a good balance between portability and screen size. On the other hand, the ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 is a premium choice with stronger graphics capabilities and a larger, high-quality display, making it ideal for intensive tasks such as 3D modeling, machine learning, gaming, and engineering, although it is more expensive and less portable due to its size and weight. The ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 16 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 16's screen offers adequate resolution and brightness for everyday tasks and office applications, but it may lack the wide color gamut and high resolution that are essential for detailed engineering and design work. The ASUS Zenbook Pro 17, with a brighter display and better color accuracy, is more suited for professionals needing precise color representation for projects. Unfortunately, both models may not satisfy gamers or those using 3D applications, as their screens don't have the high refresh rates required for smooth motion and fast-paced visuals.
