The ASUS Vivobook 16 has a larger screen, more storage, and a slightly better battery life, making it well-suited for tasks that require screen real estate and storage like content creation and general use. Its AMD processor and integrated graphics offer good performance but may lag in tasks that demand high graphical power. The ASUS Zenbook 14X, on the other hand, is more portable due to its smaller screen and lower weight, and it has a superior OLED display with a higher resolution, better color coverage, and higher brightness which is advantageous for visual work like photo and video editing. The Zenbook also has a dedicated Nvidia GPU, which can handle light gaming and 3D work better. If you value screen quality and graphical performance over battery life and storage, go for the Zenbook 14X. Otherwise, the Vivobook 16 may be a more cost-effective choice for general productivity and media consumption. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X and ASUS Vivobook 16 are both good for engineering and design, though the ASUS Zenbook 14X is somewhat better.
The ASUS Vivobook 16 with its AMD CPU and integrated graphics is well-suited for engineering and design tasks, offering a larger screen with ample workspace yet modest color accuracy, while the ASUS Zenbook 14X pairs an Intel CPU with a discrete Nvidia GPU, providing superior color reproduction on its smaller OLED screen, better for detailed design work. Both have sufficient RAM for multitasking, though the Zenbook 14X's lighter and thinner build offers better portability at the expense of some battery life compared to the Vivobook 16.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 16 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The ASUS Vivobook 16 has a display that offers adequate clarity and brightness for everyday tasks and engineering applications, but its modest color range and lower refresh rate can detract from the immersive experience desired in gaming and 3D work. The ASUS Zenbook 14X provides a higher level of detail and color accuracy that benefits users in professional settings like graphic design and engineering, thanks to its superior resolution and color gamut coverage. However, like the Vivobook, the Zenbook's lower refresh rate limits its ability to deliver the smooth visuals that are critical for high-end gaming and fluid 3D rendering.

How the ASUS Vivobook 16 and the ASUS Zenbook 14X compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, Yannick Khong | May 2023
"The ASUS Vivobook 16 M1605 (2023) is a budget Windows laptop. It's available with various AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 U-series CPUs and integrated graphics. You can only get 8GB of RAM; however, there's an empty SO-DIMM slot if you want to upgrade it. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 16:10 IPS display, a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Ports include three USB-As, one USB-C, an HDMI, and a headphone jack. The USB-C supports charging but no video output."
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
