The ASUS Vivobook 15X and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" both have their strengths. The ASUS, while a little less expensive, offers good general performance with an AMD Ryzen 5 processor and 8 GB of RAM. It's suitable for gaming and comes with a backlit keyboard and a numeric keypad. However, its screen brightness and color coverage are moderate, which might be a consideration if you're into photo editing or content creation. On the other hand, the Lenovo, slightly more expensive, features a more powerful AMD Ryzen 7 processor with 12 GB of RAM and a touchscreen, making it better suited for more demanding tasks and multitasking. It also has a brighter screen and slightly longer battery life, which could be beneficial if you work on the go. Both have similar portability, with the Lenovo being a bit lighter. Ultimately, your choice depends on whether you prioritize higher performance and a touchscreen or a lower price point with sufficient capabilities for general use and casual gaming. Give Feedback

The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15X for general use, content creation, and software development.
When choosing between the ASUS Vivobook 15X and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, both laptops have screens with adequate resolution and brightness, making them suitable for everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming. However, for engineering and design work, neither laptop provides the wide color gamuts necessary for precise color work, which could be a limitation for professionals in those fields. Gamers and 3D artists will find both lacking due to suboptimal refresh rates that prevent the smooth visuals needed for high-speed gaming and animation work, despite the screens being sufficient in terms of resolution and panel quality.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" and ASUS Vivobook 15X are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The ASUS Vivobook 15X and Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" are fair for gaming and 3D because their integrated GPUs, Vega 7 and Vega 8 respectively, provide decent but not top-tier gaming performance, and both laptops have a basic 60 Hz screen refresh rate which is adequate for casual gaming but not optimal for high-level or competitive gaming where higher refresh rates are preferred. The CPU and screen quality are also factors, with the Lenovo having a slightly more powerful processor and both featuring decent display panels, contributing to the overall satisfactory gaming and 3D experience on both laptops.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15X and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"All in all, my day on the Vivobook had its ups and downs. It is a really pretty and well-built device, and it had all of the functionality I needed to get me through my browser-based workload. But the speakers weren’t my favorite, and the battery life was just too short."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
