The ASUS Vivobook 15X is often less expensive, has an AMD Ryzen CPU with integrated graphics, bigger screen size, and a longer battery life, which may benefit those needing to work for extended periods unplugged, though it is heavier and bulkier. In contrast, the ASUS Zenbook 14X is slimmer and lighter, offering better portability with a higher resolution OLED touchscreen and superior color coverage, making it ideal for tasks that require precise color work, like photo editing. It also features a more powerful Intel i7 processor with a dedicated Nvidia graphics card, better suited for tasks that demand more processing power, such as moderate gaming or engineering software. The tradeoff is a slightly shorter battery life and a generally higher price. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X and ASUS Vivobook 15X are both good for general use, though the ASUS Zenbook 14X is somewhat better.
The ASUS Vivobook 15X, with less RAM and a CPU that's fair for general use, may struggle with multitasking and intensive tasks, while its portability and battery life are decent, but it falls behind the ASUS Zenbook 14X which, thanks to more RAM and a better CPU, excels in general use and offers improved screen quality; however, the Zenbook 14X is less portable due to being slightly heavier.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X is good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Vivobook 15X is only fair.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X outshines the Vivobook 15X in engineering and design use due to a more powerful Intel CPU, double the RAM, and a superior Nvidia MX550 GPU, along with a high-quality OLED screen that boasts better color accuracy and brightness. While the Vivobook 15X has a decent processor and GPU for lighter tasks, its screen, lower RAM, and general performance make it less ideal for intensive engineering and design work, despite being slightly more portable and quieter in operation.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15X for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 15X, with its fair screen resolution and brightness, provides an adequate display for daily tasks but may not be as sharp or vibrant as higher-end models. Its color gamut coverage is acceptable for most engineering and design work, where color accuracy is key, but it lacks the wider range seen in premium screens. For gaming and 3D applications, however, the Vivobook's lower refresh rate leads to less fluid motion and responsiveness, which can be a significant drawback compared to laptops with high refresh rate displays.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X and ASUS Vivobook 15X are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The ASUS Vivobook 15X, with its integrated AMD graphics and a standard 60Hz screen refresh rate, may offer fair gaming and 3D experiences with limitations due to modest graphical power and less fluid motion handling. In contrast, the ASUS Zenbook 14X includes a dedicated Nvidia graphics card and a higher 90Hz refresh rate OLED display, which can handle gaming and 3D tasks more capably, although it still may not satisfy hardcore gaming enthusiasts.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15X and the ASUS Zenbook 14X compare to other laptops
"All in all, my day on the Vivobook had its ups and downs. It is a really pretty and well-built device, and it had all of the functionality I needed to get me through my browser-based workload. But the speakers weren’t my favorite, and the battery life was just too short."
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
