The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is a more affordable option and offers strong performance for general use, 3D and machine learning tasks, and engineering applications, making it a solid choice if you're looking for a gaming laptop with a number pad, backlit keyboard, and hardware ray tracing capabilities. However, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" has a better battery life, a higher quality display with greater resolution and color accuracy, and higher overall portability due to its lighter weight, which could make it a better option if you value screen quality and portability over the slightly better performance and lower cost of the ASUS. Both have ample storage and RAM for most tasks, but the higher refresh rate display on the Lenovo may be more suitable for fast-paced gaming and video editing. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 has a better screen than the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F15's screen provides clear and vivid images suitable for daily tasks and some professional applications, but its limited color range and moderate refresh rate aren't ideal for color-critical work or fast-paced gaming. The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 shines with higher resolution and brightness, offering crisp visuals for everyday use and precisely rendering colors for creative work, yet it falls short for gaming due to a refresh rate that's not optimized for the most fluid motion. For both gaming and fast 3D rendering, neither laptop's screen excels, with gamers and 3D artists likely preferring a display that combines high refresh rates with strong resolution and panel quality, which these models do not prioritize.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" compare to other laptops
"Aside from all the chassis updates, the new TUF Gaming is most notable for its much higher TGP target of 140 W compared to only 95 W on the previous generation. PC makers everywhere are using the same GeForce GPUs this year since Nvidia has yet to launch the successor to the mobile RTX 3000 series. The more demanding processors of the new TUF Gaming has directly impacted battery life and the size of the AC adapter. Don't expect runtimes to be longer than on the previous generation under most conditions and be prepared to carry around an even larger AC adapter than before."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
