The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) is in the upper midrange price category and features a powerful Apple M2 main processor, suitable for general use and lighter engineering tasks, but its integrated M2 GPU is not ideal for intensive 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming. It has a large 512 GB of storage and a substantial 24 GB of RAM. With a 13.3-inch IPS display, it offers high resolution and excellent color accuracy, without touchscreen capabilities. Its 58.2 Wh battery provides long battery life, and the laptop is quite portable considering its capabilities. The build quality, keyboard, and speakers are rated highly, and its silent, fanless operation is a plus for quiet environments. It supports fast USB-C charging and has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, but lacks an HDMI port and dedicated graphics card. This MacBook doesn't have options for expandable RAM or storage and isn't suited for hardware-intensive gaming. It's pre-installed with MacOS and is considered best for general use, offering a balance of portability and performance, especially for users integrated into the Apple ecosystem. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | June 2022
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
