The Apple MacBook Air 15 (2023) is a premium-level laptop with a sleek design and a fanless, silent operation suitable for general use and engineering tasks, though not as well-suited for intensive gaming or 3D/machine learning applications due to its GPU. It features the latest Apple M2 processor and 24 GB of RAM enabling good performance for most tasks. With a high-resolution IPS display that delivers vibrant colors and excellent brightness, it's also lightweight and highly portable, making it a good option for on-the-go productivity. Its 15-hour battery life ensures you can work for extended periods without searching for a power outlet. This laptop comes with a MacOS operating system and carries a higher price tag, reflecting its build quality and performance capabilities. It lacks a touchscreen and Ethernet port but compensates with a high portability score and top-quality keyboard, webcam, and speaker system, ensuring a comfortable user experience for daily tasks. Andreas Osthoff | June 2023
"The Apple MacBook Air 15 is boringly good. The new MacBook Air 15 is a very good, but also boring device, because apart from the larger screen and the higher price, there are no differences compared to the smaller MacBook Air M2 from last year. No new processor, no additional ports, just the usual basic hardware - but the overall package is extremely good and it simply works. Above all, the lack of fans is an aspect that should not be underestimated in everyday use. In our opinion, the Air could be a lot better, but Apple goes easy on itself here."
