The Acer Nitro 5 15 offers good performance for general use, 3D rendering, and engineering due to its solid processor and powerful graphics card. It’s priced in the lower midrange, which makes it relatively affordable for many users. With a large 15.6-inch display and a high refresh rate, this laptop is well-suited for intensive gaming and can handle fast-moving visuals. A downside is the 6-hour battery life, which may not be ideal for users who need to work on the go for extended periods. The laptop is on the heavier side, so while it's not the most portable, it compensates with its gaming-friendly keyboard and multiple connectivity options, including Ethernet and USB-C charging. The build quality is good and it manages heat effectively, which is critical for a gaming laptop. The machine also features RAM and storage upgradeability, a backlit keyboard with a number pad, and hardware ray tracing capabilities for enhanced graphic fidelity in games and other applications. NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | June 2022
"The Acer Nitro 5 is a fast QHD gaming notebook. The Nitro 5 is a well-balanced gaming laptop for just under US$ 2400. A Core i7-12700H CPU and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU enable QHD gaming at high to maximum settings, accompanied by fast PCIe-4-SSD (1 TB) and 16 GB of RAM. Acer delivers a solid QHD gaming notebook with the Nitro 5 AN515-58. However, the laptop is not completely free of shortcomings. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The laptop heats up noticeably under load, but not excessively. Noise development is on the usual class level. Once again, however, Acer needs to improve the fan control."
