The ASUS Zenbook 14 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
The Acer Aspire 3's screen, with limited resolution and brightness, provides an adequate visual experience for everyday tasks but falls short for precision work and immersive gaming. In contrast, the ASUS Zenbook 14 with its higher resolution and brightness offers sharp and vibrant imagery suitable for detailed engineering and design work, although both laptops lack the high refresh rates needed for smooth rendering in 3D applications. The Acer may be cost-effective for casual use, while the ASUS is a better investment for professionals in need of color accuracy, albeit neither being ideal for gaming enthusiasts.

How the Acer Aspire 3 15 and the ASUS Zenbook 14 compare to other laptops
Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
"Users who travel frequently and are looking for a portable laptop are in the right place with the Asus ZenBook 14. The sleek case is extremely light (1.2 kg) and surprisingly thin (1.5 cm). Outdoor use is also enjoyable thanks to the bright Full HD display, which is something that can rarely be said about laptops with TN or IPS panels. The excellent battery life complements this as well. Longer trips are no problem with the ZenBook 14. Another plus point is the high-performance Ryzen 7 5700U, which often leaves the Intel competition in the dust thanks to its large number of cores."
