Ratings by Category

Battery Life:
5.0
The Battery Life rating is based on hours of typical, actual usage.

The JLab JBuds Work Wireless is suitable for gaming due to its excellent microphone quality, ensuring clear in-game communication, and it supports a wired connection which reduces latency for a more immediate and synchronized audio experience.
Air Travel:
4.6
This score evaluates the product for use on airplanes and other similar kinds of travel. It takes into account noise reduction and portability, including case shape, case size, and weight. It also incorporates the battery life of the product, long-haul comfort, noise reduction (both active and passive), and sound quality. We generally consider wireless products to be more suitable for air travel.
TV & Video:
4.4
The JLab JBuds Work Wireless are good for watching TV and videos because they can be used wired, which reduces latency issues that can cause audio-video sync problems, and their sound quality is rated as good, ensuring clear and satisfying viewing experiences.
Podcasts & Audiobooks:
4.4

PC Magazine

Tim Gideon | February 2022
"The JLab JBuds Work is an affordable headset-headphone hybrid that you can use to listen to music in stereo and communicate on video calls thanks to a retractable boom mic, and we particularly like its convenient mono and passive wired modes. You won't find any frills here like you will with the costlier Jabra Evolve2 65 or Plantronics Voyager 4220 UC, but for less than half the price, the JBuds Work is an effective lower-cost alternative."
